Compression OF image document based on segmentation

this programme is useful to compression image document based on segmentation, it separat the background and forground first ,
then the forground will séparate into two plan the textes plan and graphe plan (see image)
each plan will compresed by different type of wavelets

ISTRUCTIONS:
RUN PROJECT1.m
1)_ select your input image
2)_ select the threshold, to separate background and forground
3)_ use this function : seg2(AVPimage,1000) , to separat TEXTES AND graphe plane (1000 means to élimanate all pixel connected less then 1000)

this programme calculate
1)-the PSNR OF EACH PLAN AND THE WHOLE IMAGE
2)- the compression ratio EACH PLAN AND THE WHOLE IMAGE
3)- the time of segmentation and the time of compression
4)_ the size of initial images and compressed images
