This file contains the line detection algorithm to detect the line on the immunochromatography or lateral flow test strip.

line_detect_original.m is the complete line detection script which consists of four main steps, which are pre-processing on the acquired input image by phone camera, color segmentation, test line localization, and color-based feature extraction. While the line_detect.

The purpose of this image processing algorithm is to provide qualitative result to support the clinician in interpreting the immunochromatography test strips to avoid ambiguous interpretation which may lead to misdiagnosis in clinical settings.

The qualitative result of test lines in value form will be displayed as the output to help the clinicians to support the interpretation of the rapid diagnostic kits.
