Half Bridge Inverter Simulation

Half bridge inverter is the basis inverter topology with square wave output. It requires a 3 wire DC supply.

The three wire dc supply is generated using a voltage source with parallel connected capacitor bank. The midpoint of capacitors are connected to power supply ground. The half bridge inverter gives output square wave with peak value of half of dc link voltage. So half bridge has only 50% source utilization. So it is not common in industries.
