ANSI/IES TM-30-20 a method to evaluate light source color rendition
ANSI/IES TM-30-20, an American National Standard method for evaluating light source color rendition that is published by the Illuminating Engineering Society, is a system of several related measures and graphics that can be used together to effectively evaluate and communicate a light source’s color rendering properties.
The standard is freely available here: https://store.ies.org/product/tm-30-20-ies-method-for-evaluating-light-source-color-rendition/
The function input is the spectral power distribution (SPD) of a test light source, which should be a 401x1 matrix representing the test source SPD at 1 nm intervals between 380 nm and 780 nm.
The outputs of the ANSI/IES TM-30-20 are fidelity index (Rf), gamut index (Rg), correlated color temperature (CCT), and Duv.
