A set of MATLAB sample codes to help engineering students (e.g. ME, CEE, AE, etc.), to learn and internalize numerical techniques for anaylizing mechanical structures, including trusses, beams, frames, etc.

This repository is part of a set of engineering-related codes, where you can find more details in this blog post, and the teaching section of my personal website.
More specifically, this package includes the following items:
- A single-file script for analyzing beams and planar frames.
- A single-file script for analyzing truss structures.
- A small program for modeling and analyzing the famous conical bar under self-weight problem, where a simple GUI has also been created to facilitate the modeling and studying results. In all cases, the instructions for generating input files and some sample input files are provided.
Special thanks to the course instructor, Prof. Rafi Muhanna at Georgia Tech for providing the advice and insights towards designing and preparation of the materials.
