Formalizing Requirements and Generating Requirements-Based Test Cases
Systems engineers typically capture requirements using text that can be incomplete and inconsistent, resulting in errors that become exponentially more expensive to fix over time. By formalizing requirements using the Requirements Table block, you can define the expected behavior and analyze the requirements for completeness and consistency before you even begin your design. Furthermore, since the model is independent of the design model, you can generate requirements-based tests from your modeled requirements and verify if your design is meeting those requirements without needing to manually write thousands of test cases.
