Flexible beam using lumped parameter and state-space methods for static, modal, and dynamic analysis

Description

This file contains flexible beam models implemented in SimMechanics that use lumped parameter and state-space approaches. It includes methods to compute static deflection, natural frequencies, plot mode shapes, and obtain the state-space representation from lumped parameter model. This example also shows how to increase simulation speed by calculated a reduced order approximation of the state-space representation with the MATLAB function balred.
