MathWorks experienced a ransomware attack.
Some of our online applications used by customers became unavailable, and certain internal systems used by staff became unavailable, beginning on Sunday, May 18. We have notified federal law enforcement of this matter. According to our forensic experts, the ransomware attacker is a known cybercriminal organization, not a nation state. We are working with our cybersecurity experts to bring our systems back online and investigate any data that may have been impacted by this incident.
