DTMF Generator and Receiver

Model a dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF) generator and receiver. The model generates touch-tone signals, adds channel noise, and decodes the dialed digits in real time using a bandpass filter bank receiver. A Spectrum Analyzer block displays the spectrum and spectrogram of the generated tones, a shift register stores the decoded digits, and real-time audio playback lets you hear the tones through your soundcard.

The authorized bandwidth of FRS channels is 12.5 KHz and the center frequency separation between channels is 25 KHz.
