    Syntax

    mtls = materials(obj)

    Description

    Add-On Required: This feature requires the 3D Scenarios add-on.

    mtls = materials(obj) returns the materials reported by the specified scene or actor.

    Input Arguments

    Scene or actor, specified as a Scene object or an Actor object.

    Output Arguments

    Materials, returned as a table with these variables:

    • Material — Name of the material reported by the scene or actor. The function removes the names of duplicate materials.

    • MatchedCatalogMaterial — Name of the matched material, returned as one of these values:

      • "" — No matched material.

      • A material name from this table.
