How to Plot a Continuous Input Distribution for SOM Training phase?

Hi guys, I want to generate and draw an input distribution to examine the behavior of self organizing maps (Kohenen neural network) on distribution approximation but actually I do not know how to generate the desired input association. Here I've uploaded the picture of what I exactly want to generate and plot.
