Code generation for C281X: how to configure and use XINTF?

Hi, all.
I'm generating code from Simulink for a F2812 DSP based custom board. The XINTF external interface is used to interface peripherals and memory.
I'm wondering how to write to and read from the devices attached to XINTF. I think this could be done using the 'write to memory' and 'read from memory' (or the 'memory copy' block in more recent versions) but I didn't try it yet. Can someone confirm this?
My second question is about the configuration of XINTF. Is there any way to do it??
