Matlab Plot Differential Equation

I am trying to plot differential equations (1) and (2) . I don't know where to start. Let's assume that I know all variables except t,e, and i,respectively. What is the function for these equations and how would I plot something like this?

You need to know what the functions Ce(ē), Pj(t), Ci(ē), and Qj(t) are. Would they be local to your ‘CortexColumnJ’ function file or external to it? Do those functions have any external dependencies of their own?

The rest of it would be relatively straightforward to code.
