Make the dropdown already scrolled down to the bottom in app

I'm designing an app, which shows the data of each patient. When booting up the app, I already made the app to choose always the last patient and show the data. (See Image 1)

When I select another patient, and open the dropdown again, the dropdown stays scrolled with the second patient in view and the name is blue. (See Image 2)

However I want the same effect already for the first patient, so the dropdown-menu, when opened, is already scrolled down to the last patient and the last patient is showed in blue.

I hope this makes sense!

Of course, normally it shows PatientNames instead of "Column [1-244]", but I changed it for privacy

It's an old question, but maybe this answer helps someone. I don't know which version of Matlab you used, but I just tested in R2021b and the behavior that you described doesn't happen. The first patient is shown with a blue background and so on...
