-HELP- MATHEMATICAL SOLUTION OF AN ELLIPTIC EQUATION

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community and to using Matlab. For a study for a university exam I would like to know how the result of this elliptic equation is calculated on Matlab. Thanks a lot to anyone who will help me.

I do not know what the semi-colon means in that image. Also I am not sure what and are in this context.
Is E eccentricity (which is typically ϵ) or is it standing for "expected value" ?
What is being calculated?
This is not an Elliptic equation, I think as it's not fulfil any condition for being an eliptic equation, is it an expected solution of an elliptic equation . Can you recheck the term again please?
This is the complete equation. a~ and h~ are two dimensionless parameters and E should define an elliptic function with argument [] in the figure. Thanks so much again.
Is that the Elliptic Integral of the Second Kind, sometimes called EllipticE ?
