Data Acquisition with a Signatec PDA 1000 board

Hi,

I am currently designing a standalone application in which I need to interface a Signatec PDA 1000 board (<http://www.signatec.com/products/daq/high-speed-pcix-digitizer-board-pda1000.html>) which is not in the supported hardware list. I have to do acquire data with this board in my program. I will use it on Windows, I have the driver and I can also have access to a C library.

I am new to data acquisition in Matlab, I have read a bit about the Data Acquisition Toolbox Adaptor Kit (<http://www.mathworks.com/help/pdf_doc/daq/adaptorkit.pdf>) and I also read about calling functions in a library : http://www.mathworks.fr/help/techdoc/matlab_external/f43202.html

I don't really know what is the best way to do that, does anyone had success using the Adaptor Kit to connect unsupported hardware with this kind of board ?
