How to create GUI for Transmitting and receiving text(string) using Arduino in MATLAB

Now I transmit text(string / characters) withing the two arduino boards. I need to create GUI for showing(receive) text and transmit user input text. I need to create GUI for get string from user and showing received sring in MATLAB. How can I do it. Can you help me to code it and how to link GUI and Arduino Board.
