Is there any documentation regarding how to do so?

We have the following example in our documentation. However, it is missing instructions for adding a rule to an existing filter file:
Basically, you need to open the Filter Editor (= Filter Viewer) and then by right-clicking "Applied Filters" and choosing "Load filter" open the filter file you'd like to add your rule to. If you have multiple Applied Filters for this model select the one you want to add the rule to. Then in your model navigate to the block you'd like to exclude from coverage and use its context menu -> "Coverage" to choose the desired action (like shown in the linked example).
