cannot change background figure color and default setting for export 'w' does not work either

every single figure has the same problem. The background is black and I cannot change it, nor manually neither programmatically. Same happens during export, it is as if the background color is fixed.

I am sorry, the fig comes from a simulink scope block. I save it as a .fig and when I open it, I found that problem. I don't know if that respond to your question.

Hi,

I understand you would like to change the background colour of “scope” in Simulink. You can achieve this by editing the scope property – “Axes Colors” from the “View > Style” option in the toolbar. Please refer to the below image for your reference.
