Reading data from MLX90640 IR camera and Arduino

Hello,

does anyone have experience with getting images from a MLX90640 IR thermal camera. I didn't find any tutorials that help me further.

I thought i should be possible with serial connection to an arduino and from there with an usb connection to my PC.

Hi Matthias,

A possible way to read the images from IR thermal Camera is by using 'Image Acquisition Toolbox'. Please refer the following documentations for more information on the toolbox:

• https://in.mathworks.com/help/imaq/

When the images are read successfully to MATLAB then you can use Add-ons for MATLAB which support I/O with Arduino.
