see point 4:
Online versions of MATLAB Runtime are only available for releases after R2012a. Older releases of MATLAB Runtime were shipped with MATLAB Compiler. If you do not have MATLAB, please request the Runtime from the MATLAB Compiler user who created the deployed package.

thanks for your comment.
so...to get the MATLAB runtime, I should install the MATLAB Compiler R2009a. is it right?
Yes, you either need to get the runtime from your own MATLAB Compiler license, or else from the source that you got the compiled executable from.
This arrangement was required by the commercial arrangement that Mathworks had with some companies that provided technology that Mathworks used. Later, Mathworks made different arrangements that did not require this restriction, but the arrangements were not retroactive.

thanks for the details.
can I ask you one more question?
do you know is MATLAB Compiler r2009a able to work in windows 10 or later?
the document about system requirements only says until windows 7(https://jp.mathworks.com/content/dam/mathworks/mathworks-dot-com/support/sysreq/files/SystemRequirements-Release2009a_Windows.pdf).
Sorry, I do not know. Often you can set compatibility mode on an executable using Windows Explorer, but that does not always work.
One particular function that does not always work in compatibility mode, is direct access to devices, such as for data acquisition or direct control of parallel ports.

OK. I will try to install MATLAB Compiler R2009a.
Thank you for your kindness.
I have just tried a very old MATLAB stand alone exe on compiled with MCR 7.5 (it's probaly from 2006 or 2008) on Windows 11. The GUI font looks blury but it seems to works.

that sounds good information.
thanks.
I have seen Matlab 6.5 (from 20 years ago) run on windows 11. Unsupported operating systems are hit or miss, but mostly they tend to still work. You will just not get any installation support from Mathworks.

I got it. You mean that system requirement is only the minimum requirement for using.
Thanks.
Actually, no. The system requirements only show supported options. Earlier or later OSes might work, but are not supported. In general the effect will be that the OS mentioned is a minimum requirement, but that is not a given.
