Copy and paste not working, some minutes after opening Matlab (R2022a)

Hi,
I have an issue in Matlab R2022a on Windows 11. When I open Matlab, copying and pasting code works fine. However, after some time (20-30 minutes) the copy-paste functions stop working. Both using CTRL-C/ CTRL-V or the mouse have no effect. The only way to fix it, is by closing and restarting Matlab.
I have seen some older Q&A's were people pointed out the ''Active Settings'' in the keyboard shortcut preference tab. I have checked these settings. It has constantly been set to 'Windows Default Set'. The shortcut overview in the same preference tab also displays the copy-paste shortcuts to be CTRL-C/ CTRL-V.
Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!

I too have the exact problem. These days it is happening quite frequently. Earlier, I exited MATLAB and opened to fix it. Now, I tried by closing the editor and opening it again. It works this way too. But the root cause and permanent fix to be ascertained.

No, many of us have seen it occasionally but we don't know how to reproduce it. For most of us it seems to happen randomly and rarely, like for me maybe once a week or so. Unfortunately for you it's more often. I have not heard of a fix or workaround other than restarting, but I know the Mathworks knows about it. I'll let them know again. had the same issue
someting that might work
in the preferences, Just apply Emac default once and test it in the code, then apply windows default

Why would that work, or might work? And how would you tell definitively? For me the paste problem only shows up around every 2 to 6 weeks or so.
Something screws up the setting, So if you reset the setting to what it is when opening Matlab can solve the problem which solved for me. I said it might work
Do you think that would be a permanent fix? Others have give workarounds like changing editor windows but they're just temporary. Some days of weeks into the future, randomly, it might not work again. I'm working with the developers to find the root cause.
