Eliminate spikes when switching between outputs of lowpass filter

I want to eliminate spikes that occur whenever the output signal switches abruptly based on the selection of one of the low pass filters. The output response should be smooth for any changes in the input

Take the fft of the isgnal and design the filters to eliminate the undesired frequencies. It likely requires only one IIR filter.
