Turning Contours into ROI

Hi,
I have a list of points (stored in an array) which describe the contours of a 2d shape. I want everything inside and on the boundary of the contour to be 1 and everything outside to be zero. How do I do this in Matlab?

Use poly2mask in the Image Processing Toolbox.
