I have installed Matlab 2013b with Windows SDK 7.1 Unfortunately when I run mbuild -setup or mex -setup there is no option for a 74 bits compiler can anyone help?
Thank you.

Hello, This is a common problem with Matlab... why they got rid of the built in compiler escapes my understanding.
Usually you need to do some trial and error. I've been there but you must be patient,
This thread will help you with the installation of SDK and possible issues, read it carefully. SDK type errors Maybe you will find something that you are experiencing. Sometimes the solution is not so trivial and you require additional patches.
In other cases, depending on the version, it is better to install Microsoft Visual Studio Express, and then you have the C++ compiler of it.
Be patient
