How to Draw own TFR image?

Hello All, I want to draw/design an image in the time frequency representation that contains only two componenets. I want to use this to test the algorithm for edge detection purpose. Could you please guide me how to do this. I have never done this before. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks
