I keep getting this error; Index in position 2 exceeds array bounds. Index must not exceed 1. Line 22

This is my code. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here:

Zip up your data and attach it so we can run your code. Also you forgot to include all the red error text, like especially the one that gives the line of code. Apparently you're trying to index some column greater than 1 in a column vector that has only one column.

Line 22 is the end statement; the error is there. The next line after that does not do any indexing, so the error does not occur there. The line before is

    [EnsambleVectorPar] = Parallelanalysis(EnsembleValue, Num2Process, RadLat, RadLon, RadO3);

Your code does not define EnsembleValue or Num2Process -- are they functions?

Your code does not define Parallelanalysis -- is it a function? If it is a variable then you would have problems indexing it because RadLat and RadLon are not positive integers. If it is a function then the indexing error cannot occur at line 22 as you indicated (but could potentially occur inside the hypothetical Parallelanalysis() )

Hi yes, Parallelanalysis is a function which I've created and have called it in the main file, 'ParallelProcessing'. The 2 varibales inside 'EnsembleValue' and 'Num2Process' has been defined on the function regarding to Parallelanalysis and this can be found on that file. However this is line 29. Line 22, where the error states is this; [Data2Process, LatLon] = PrepareData(Lat,HourlyData, Lon);

All the variables inside has been already defined.

But why are you not giving us all the data and code needed to reproduce your error? Your nc file is not included in your zip file. Why not?

If you are getting the indexing error at that line, then it implies that PrepareData is an existing variable in your workspace, and that Lat, HourlyData, Lon are not valid indices for it. Which is to be expected since they are probably non-integer values.

That code needs PrepareData to be a function, not a variable. But you did not include any PrepareData function in the .zip you attached.

This is the Prepare Data file and ensabled value file. These are the common files I have.

We do not have your data file to test with, so I recommend that you give the MATLAB command

dbstop if error

and then run your code. The program should stop openned to the line with the error, and you will then be able to examine which index values are being requested and what the actual size of the arrays are.
