Fractions using tex interpreter

Is there a way to show fractions in a text object, while using the 'tex' interpreter? I do not want to use the 'latex' interpreter because it is not consistent in all text formats.

Nope, no can do...one of the big frustrations with MATLAB implementation of either interpreter is that both LaTeX and TeX are incomplete and non-extensible.

Hello Joaquin,
As of now, the “TeX” interpreter does not support displaying fractions, and the “LaTeX” interpreter is suggested to be used for this purpose.
Hope this helps.

How does that address the OP's original issue?
