Can I have a graph on Matlab GUI plotting live data received from a DSP?

I'm working with a TI F28379D DSP and I have made a GUI on MatLab. I make the communication using the SCI protocol.

The GUI control is done via uicontrol(f,'Style','edit','Position',[x2,y1+9*dy1,100,25],'BackgroundColor',[1 1 1]);

I'm not sure if I can have graph plotting the data using 'ui' control.

If anyone has done something like this before, can have a look on the code I can provide.

Yes, it's possible to plot a streaming of real data. But... Why are you using uicontrol?! Try to update your project to App Designer.
