How do you resize (shrink) the base model or canvas in System Composer?

I am working with Matlab/Simulink 22b, the problem occured while modeling an Autosar composition, though it relates to basic System composer as well.

The base canvas auto-extends when a component or signal line overlaps the boundary. But I found no way to manually resize it, especially to manually shrink it. Hovering the mouse over the edge gives you a connector option, not a resize option.

This becomes an issue when you get a glitchy signal line that decides to auto-route 1e6 units down after moving a component, thus extending the base canvas practically to infintity.

To fit the canvas to the architecture model, press the space bar twice.
