Need help to modify the code

I am runninf "mhw" code. This example file will load and execute the function file called "detect", and "mean_and_trend". detect function gives output "MHW", m_cli_mhw_ts. After that, mean_and_trend will read MHW and mhw_ts and m_cli to calculate annual mean, trend, p_value.

Here, I wanted use season (DJF, MAM, JJA, SON) instead of annual. So, that same output can be generated for each season (e.g. 32x32x41). I will appreciate all who take part of it. thanks in addvance.
