Can I use a Speedgoat real-time target as an XCP Server (formerly XCP Slave) device?
The goal would be to control the Speedgoat hardware and the real-time model using third-party calibration tools such as Vector CANape® or ETAS® Inca.

Simulink Real-Time can be used in XCP Server mode (formerly XCP Slave mode) to support interaction with third-party calibration tools such as Vector CANape® (www.vector.com ) and ETAS® Inca (www.etas.com ).
Use these tools for:
  • Parameter display and tuning
  • Calibration data saving, restoring, and swapping by page
  • Signal streaming/logging
These tools run in XCP Client mode (formerly XCP Master mode). Simulink Real-Time emulates an electronic control unit (ECU) operating in XCP Server mode.
