mapprofile function in Mapping Toolbox is not working correctly

[zqA,distqA,latqA,lonqA] = mapprofile(DV,R_DV,lat,lon,"km");

% I use this "mappprofile" function in mapping toolbox to get a terrain profile but the values in distqA are not km, nor meters, nor degrees

% The workspace window says the variable lengths are "68035x1 double" but only 659 points show when I plot.

Anybody know what is going on with this function?
