MATLAB R2022a glitch selector boxes won't disappear
Show older comments
Sometimes I am noticing what appears to be a glitch where after I've selected a plot object (in this case, both vertical lines) with my cursor in a plot window, the little blue boxes that appear to indicate that the object is selected won't go away when I select a different object or click away from the object. The object is no longer actively selected (in propery inspector window, the object is not selected), but the little blue boxes get stuck. If I then saveas the figure as any figure type, the boxes are still there (.fig, .tif, .jpeg, etc). They seem impossible to remove unless I delete the glitchy plot object and re-plot it which is tedious.
Ctrl x + Ctrl v of the object only cuts and pastes the object with the blue boxes still there.

Has anyone else run into this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Hello Sara
I attempted, but was unable, to reproduce the same issue on my end. Therefore, it would be beneficial if you could provide additional details about the type of data you are working with or whether the dataset is too big, since this could be the cause of the issue.
I'm awaiting your answer.
