How to update my Matlab installation to include recently obtained Compiler license?

The Compiler is used to build a project to create an executable .exe file that can be distributed to users with their need to install Matlab. We recently purchased the Compiler, but our IT team hasn't performed any update. Please describe the steps, beginning with how to obtain any required media.
