set the origin of a coordinate system

hey, i have some points on the x-axis of a repere, from 0:1:500, with the origin of the repere by 0. Now i will have the origin of this repere bei 250, so that i have -250 to 250; how could i do? Tx

I am assuming that you want to set the limits of a graph. This can be done by using the 'axes' function and providing x and y limits as discussed here
