MATLAB R2023b gui in ubuntu 24 is not opening files after launch. Displaying some errors and shutdown

I launched R2023b using the method in Ubuntu 24 (via terminal). Upon starting the GUI is showing a window full of error starting desktop message and shutting down. Any help in how to fix this?

It would be nice if customer service would quickly issue a workaround.

It may not be a MATLAB problem, as noted in my Answer.

According to MATLAB and Simulink Requirements 24.04 is supported.

It would be best for you to Contact Support for installation problems.

Please post back here with the solutions MathWorks provides.
