The Future of Simscape Multibody Link

While looking at the "Install the Simscape Multibody Link Plugin" page, I have noticed that there was a cutoff in support for SolidWorks (amongst others) for all versions after 2021. Here are my questions on the matter:

• Why is this the case?
• Is the support for newer versions in the works?
• Has it's functionality been replaced by another tool?
• Was there not enough use of this tool, which led it to be shelved?

I need to use this tool's functionality, but I am finding it odd that I have to revert to older versions of SolidWorks in order to make it work. Hoping to have someone "in the know" to explain the situation!
