License assignation after computer crash

Dear all,
We as GRADEL are owner of MATLAB / SIMULINK license Nr xxyyzzxxyyzzxxyyzz. I tried through my account s.lagrange@gradel.lu to reassign this licencse to a new user. This license was before operated by user e.enferad@gradel.lu, Ehsan ENFERAD. Mr. ENFERAD left the company and I would like to reassign his license to a new user.
I found the license number on your offer xxyyzzxxyyzz from 31/03/2022. The device where MATLAB was used is crashed so we can't run MATLAB and get license or version Nr. As we didn't need MATLAB from 2023 to now, we didn't try to reallocate the license earlier. I think our current version is 2023 but I can't tell you if a or b.
When trying to link the license to my account I have an error message and have no access.
Could you please support us on this matter?
Thank you very much.
S. Lagrange

@stephane, Never post your license number(s) online. I have edited them away from the post.
Just FYI - Answers forum is not an official The Mathworks support/sales channel but a hosted volunteer site; we don't have access to such details nor are in any position to offer advice/suggestions on such issues.

Visit https://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/?s_tid=user_nav_myac . Click on the line corresponding to the license in question. Click on the Install and Activate tab of the page that comes up. A list of activated computers will come up, each with its own Computer Label. To the far right of the computer label list there is a Deactivate button. Once clicked, MATLAB will allow you to activate the license against a different user.
