Different simulation results with the DC Fast Charger model despite using the same parameters as the demo
Show older comments
I am working on an electric vehicle (EV) charging system using MATLAB/Simulink and the DC Fast Charger (dcfastcharger) model provided by MathWorks.
I attempted to reproduce the official demonstration exactly, using the same model and the same data provided in the online documentation. No parameters were modified, and the configuration follows the demo settings.
However, after running the simulation, the results I obtain (waveforms, currents, voltages, power, and dynamic behavior) are different from those shown in the official online example.
I would like to understand:
- What could cause such discrepancies even when using identical parameters (MATLAB/Simulink version, Simscape version, solver settings, time step, initial conditions, active variants, model workspace variables, etc.).
- Which points should be checked to ensure the simulation is configured exactly as in the official demo.
- Whether there are environment- or version-dependent settings that could affect the results.
Thank you in advance for your help.

need details. A link to the online document? What are different?
