Thanks DB for the reference, however the courses don't look extensive enough, is there any extra material you'd recommend

I've no experience with Simulink at all, so no personal knowledge base there at all. I would think MathWorks would certainly know what they think is pertinent background.
Beyond that, all I would be able to suggest would be actual use of the product and reading the documentation summary sections that are generally (at least in MATLAB, remember I "know nuthink!" about Simlink) pretty good overviews of how to approach problems; exact syntax could be gotten to from help files during these exams; my understanding is they are open book just no external sources like internet, etc.
Other than that, there a lot of books written and published; whether there may be ones that claim to be specific towards tutoring for the exams I don't know. I would guess looking at sample exams questions should give you a reasonable feel for where your experience/knowledge states are in the knowledge space required. I don't know if there is a stable, fixed and finite set of those questions or if they are randomly provided from a very large repertoire of available ones.
I personally have never had a reason to worry about the certifications so have no direct experience: could see from the format of the above linked page one might possibly miss seeing that the recommendations for other than MATLAB at the top might be overlooked/misssed so I just pointed it out. That, unfortunately, is the limit of my expertise in the area! :>)
Thanks , i really appreciate it ! :)

I think most of the following is contained in @dpb 's first link, but here is the answer from AI:
For the Certified Simulink Associate exam, MathWorks recommends a concise preparation path focused on core modeling concepts.
1. Recommended Preparation Courses
To build the necessary knowledge for the certification, you should complete the following official MathWorks training:
  • Simulink Fundamentals: This is the primary core course required for the exam. It covers everything from building and modifying block diagrams, modeling continuous vs. discrete systems, to creating subsystems and configuring solver settings.
  • Simulink Onramp: A free, 2-hour interactive introductory course. It is an excellent starting point to brush up on basic signal routing and block mechanics before moving to the Fundamentals.
(Note: Depending on your industry, you can also opt for domain-specific variations like Simulink Fundamentals for Automotive Applications or Simulink Fundamentals for Aerospace Applications.)
2. Is there a dedicated learning path like the MATLAB exam?
No, there is no identical "Simulink for the Certified Associate Exam" learning path in the way MATLAB has a bundled curriculum.
While the MATLAB track combines multiple courses into a centralized exam prep path, the Simulink track is much more direct and relies on one primary training framework:
  • The Single-Course Foundation: Virtually all objectives of the Associate exam are directly mapped to the content taught inside the Simulink Fundamentals course. If you master the exercises in that course, you have covered the curriculum.
  • The Certification Guide: Instead of a structural online learning path, MathWorks provides an official Certified Simulink Associate Exam Guide PDF. This document outlines the exact skills tested (such as managing data, working with bus signals, model referencing, and debugging).
  • Practice Questions: MathWorks offers official sample questions on their certification web page, which simulate the 42-question, multiple-choice environment you will encounter during the 90-minute exam.
