How to fix an error when trying to start matlab
Show older comments
I've been using matlab for a few months, but a couple of weeks ago when I tried to open it i got a message saying "ERROR; Failed to to load nativejmi: unsatisfied link". i can only click on "ok", and then there is a "Fatal error on startup" message. screenshots of both messages are attached.
Am i able to fix this or do i need to un- and then re-install matlab? also how would i do this?
I downloaded matlab using the license provided by my uni

Nothing is attached. Anyway, there could be billions of reasons why it won't start and we don't know them all. Call them on Monday for free installation help:
But, sure, in the meantime, it can't hurt to do run "restoredefaultpath" or reinstall it.
