How to make arrays elements of a cell array?

After unsuccessful attempts and the tempting by one of the answers I find myself more and more considering the option of having arrays as elements of a cell array.

Unfortunately, trying out every cell function has yielded

Undefined function or method 'num2cel' for input arguments of type 'double

Therefore is there a for dummies way of doing this?. Thanks for any replies!

You missed the final "l"
