nwalign algorithm

Dear all, I'm studying the nwalign.m file and found something I cannot solve by myself. In the line
affinegapmex(intseq2, intseq1, gapopen, gapextend, ScoringMatrix, algorithm);
The last argument 'algorithm' takes values 1 or 3.
However, the affinegap function does not use that argument as far as I can read, so my guess is this is something new in the affinegapmex function which is not readable since it is compiled.
My questions are, Are these values new to the affinegapmex function? From where I can read the content of the affinegapmex and simplegapmex functions?
Thanks in advance,
Diego

Any function whose name ends in 'mex' is fairly likely to be proprietary MathWorks source code.

I'm ok with that... so can I borrow that code for a while?
I really want to study it.
Cheers,

Well I gave up trying to understand from outside the way affinegapmex works.
Therefore let me rephrase my question:
From where can I download (or read) an older copy of nwalign that uses affinegap instead of affinegapmex?
Thanks,
Diego
To get access to proprietary MathWorks source code, you need to be employed by MathWorks as an employee or intern.

jajaja thank you very much Walter.
Hopefully some day I'll learn enough to be hired for this amazing company ;)
