Selecting the features

I have extracted four features of images(80 images) and have saved as final.mat ,i have taken an query image now i want to extract same features and save as final1.mat please help

What is it that you are looking for assistance with? You already have the feature extraction code in order to have finished the first part, and you already have file saving code in order to have saved as final.mat, so is the question now just how to allow the user to select a query image from a directory?

no walter i want to extract same features for query image and save it as final1.mat

my program consists of 300 lines ,for those feature extraction and have saved it as final.mat..now to extract same features for that query image ,have i to write 300 lines again ?or is there any way to extract features by loadind final.mat file

Make the feature extraction code a function and call it from both places.
