Can I publish interactive Figures in HTML

Can I embed Matlab Figures into HTML preserving 3-D functionality? This seems not to be possible using the MATLAB publishing tool, but what about external tools? For Example there is the Interactive MATLAB Figure Viewer for online versions of Elsevier articles, but it wouldn't be Elsevier if it was publicly available.
