how can I solve it using matlab,

this is a problem with its solution. can you solve it as the solution by matlab. don't copy the values. the solution start from the middle where it says (use the stopping... etc)
the stopping criterien has a function in my book (E_s=0.5*10^(2-n)), where n is the number of sig figs and that is given in the statement (n=2), as you see in the solution. the absolute error has a function too where E_a= (current approximation - previous approximation)/current approximation*100% as you see
