restoredefaultpath removes the path to /share/apps/matlabr2015a/toolbox/matlab/codetools

It seems that the command restoredefaultpath sporadically removes the path to /share/apps/matlabr2015a/toolbox/matlab/codetools? Is there a systematic reason for this that I haven't noticed?
