  • Is it possible to use the R2015b version of MATLAB on Windows 10?
It is possible to use Windows 10 but we do not recommend to do so. We have not yet tested the model on this operating system, and so will, unfortunately, not be able to support you if you encounter any problems.
  • What is the size of the arena?
3 meters by 3 meters
  • What will be the number of sites to visit on Mars?
Between 5 and 10
  • What will be the number of obstacles to avoid?
Between 4 and 10
  • What is the size of the obstacles?
About 25 cm by 25 cm
  • Will the robot always start from the same place and in the same position?
Yes
  • The positions of the sites to visit on Mars and the obstacles will be known in advance?
No. The aim of the competition is to create an autonomous mining algorithm.
  • What should the teams bring with them on the day of the finals?
1 or 2 laptops maximum, with Windows 7 installed, MathWorks products as well as Arduino support package.
  • Can we record the set of point?
The set of points changes so recording points will not help you.

Regarding this part, what do you mean the set of points changes? Do you mean after each run, or do you mean in real-time (therefore making it pointless to record the last places you've been to)?

Once the run begins the set of points will not change; but they can move between seperate runs. I hope this makes things clearer for you...
