How to solve one dimensional cutting stock problem with genetic algorithm?

Can anyone explain me step-wise procedure and matlab code to solve one dimensional cutting stock problem using genetic algorithm. Example :- 4 piece= 9m , 5 piece= 3m , 10 piece = 2m. Standard length = 13m
